MEET THE EMPLOYEES
AARON SLOCKISH
Aaron graduated from White Swan High School in 2022. He has been working at SG since early 2020 and has since become a talented graphic designer and reliable worker. Aaron’s drink of choice is a blue Gatorade, brought daily to SG.
BRIANNA SELAM
Brianna has been with Swan Graphics since 2020 and has since become our Etsy manager and one of SG’s graphic designers. Brianna enjoys organizing & fulfilling Etsy orders and DJing during the work day.
D’ARMON LOGIE
D'Armon has been with SG from its beginning in 2017 and has printed over 20,000 t-shirts since its opening in 2017! D’Armon adds humor and fun to the work environment while managing to print shirts at lightning speed.
ELIZABETH JOHN
Elizabeth started working at Swan Graphics and Swan Seed Co the fall 2023. We are excited to have her working with our graphic designers and harvesting seeds with our new economic development project.
LAUREN HUDSON
Lauren started working at Swan Graphics the fall of 2023. Lauren is working with our graphics designers and navigating working with being a great mom to her 3 kids.
NELSON FRANK
Nelson graduated from White Swan High School in 2018. Nelson’s our dark room master, additionally performing outdoor and indoor daily maintenance at SG. You will find Nelson with a Dr. Pepper in hand, telling jokes and recommending new movies.
TIERRA CANAPO
Tierra graduated from Yakama Nation Tribal School in 2016. She is our embroidery queen and is learning graphic design and etsy operations as well! Tierra has been with us since 2020 and is a sweet and talented addition to the SG team.
VANESSA ESTRADA
Nessa just started at Swan Graphics and is working in customer service. Nessa’s smile and happy attitude is a great addition to SG.
VAUGHN KAHCLAMAT-LUCEI
Vaughn graduated from White Swan High School in 2022. Vaughn has become a speedy screen printer since his start in 2020 at SG. He loves the challenge of printing a stack of shirts and works hard alongside the other screen printers.

DARREN MAXFIELD, CPA
Darren serves as our Executive Director, taking on a variety of roles from leading and teaching screen printing to meeting with local small businesses and handling financials.
IAN RITCHIE
Ian is learning screen printing, helping to run daily operations and getting to know employees.
JESSE DEMPSEN
Jesse runs Swan Technology, equipping elementary and middle school students with coding and robotics skills. Jesse is also developing training for new SG hires.
SUSIE MAXFIELD
Susie has a huge heart for SVE. She juggles many tasks including providing stellar customer service, cooking lunch, and transporting participants and delivering orders.
TOLLIE NAIL
Tollie wears many hats with SG. Tollie is preparing meals for employees and leads our new economic development project, Swan Seed Co.

Jeremy works with Yakama Nation Behavioral Health and the McKinley Church of Christ in Toppenish, WA.
STEVE O’BAN
Director
Steve is an attorney and Senior Counsel to the Pierce County Executive in Tacoma, WA and a Ruling Elder in the PCA.
CHRISTAL BROWN
Director
Christal works with Yakama Nation Behavioral Health in their suicide prevention program and lives in the Yakama Nation.
JOSH SHOEMAKER
Director
Josh is a business consultant with local and regional businesses and attends a PCA church in Yakima, WA.
